Challenge The Wild XL will be running their Blue Light Adventure Festival in July 2023 to offer those in the Blue Light Sector the opportunity to take part in an organised adventure based event; guided by professional instructors. The event provides a range of positive mental health benefits and the opportunity to take part in outdoor adventure in a safe setting.
Who can attend?
Highways England Traffic Officers
HM Forces and Veterans
HM Prison and Probation Service
This Adventure event is an exhilarating and uplifting outdoor adventure. Under the watchful eye of highly-trained instructors, participants will be encouraged and empowered as they take on a series of challenges, specially designed to help build team spirit and self-confidence. Before they know it, they’ll be facing fears and achieving more than they ever believed they could. You don’t have to be fighting fit or as strong as an ox to take part; a positive attitude and a good sense of humour are far more important.
Challengers will be able to experience activities such as waterfall jumping, canyoning, rock scrambling, abseiling, hiking and canoe rafts. And as it’s an overnight event; there will be the chance to sleep under the stars, enjoy locally produced food and make the most of the onsite bar.
